Meet Y.O. Chizz The Co-Founder of XODS, A Million Dollar Market Cap Cryptocurrency Project
So great to meet you! Your story is very very impressive especially being as young as you are.
Please tell us a little about yourself and what got you started.
My name is Y.O. Chizz. I was born and raised in Queens, NY. I and my partners (Yahshua, Solomon & Judah) looked at the current state of the world and brainstormed on what we could possibly do about it.
Everything is or has already gone digital since I’ve been alive on this earth. I’ve watched instruments, televisions, credit cards, and even money go digital. I and my partners want to stay ahead of the curve so we positioned ourselves to not get left behind.
What exactly does your company do?
XODS is a semi-decentralized BEP-20 token on the Binance Smart Chain Mainnet. XODS is a censorship resistance token that aims to create a web of social platforms for the UnderPrivileged. Not only to encourage the use of alternative currency outside the USD but to reestablish economic independence that was taken by force.
XODS was created as a payment token that can be utilized as a form of trade on traditional cryptocurrency exchanges or within the XODS web of platforms. With this token, holders can utilize the XODS social network for business advertisements. XODS also aims to create payment settlement bridges to networks outside of the Binance Smart Chain ecosystem. We want to create ecosystems and jobs within the tech space to benefit as many people as we possibly can.
Are you excited about XOdirect, how do XODS holders benefit from it?
I and my partners are overly excited about XOdirect. XOdirect is almost complete and we believe it will be a major milestone for the project. We live in a world where convenience is key to a company’s success. Our holders want an easier way to get their hands on XODS tokens and a safe place to store them.
This is where XOdirect comes in. It is a mobile wallet that gives them everything they need all in one. They will be able to track the performance of the tokens, see their portfolio balance, and will also be able to store other coins and tokens within their wallet. We believe all XODS holders will be very happy on the release day.
Can you explain XOJUMP and how it works?
Yes, XOJUMP is our first product that’s out now and is in beta. It is a search engine that keeps your search history private. We don’t sell our user’s information to any 3rd party companies and we did not install any trackers within our platform.
Soon we will launch the business directory in beta, where business owners can go and advertise their business and product to our users. This is one way we want to create a thriving ecosystem and keep money circulating within our network for the people who really need it.
What were the biggest challenges you have faced and how did you overcome them?
I was my biggest enemy in the beginning. I had to overcome myself. I had to gain introspection. Find flaws within myself and fix them. Once I was able to face myself and change myself from who I was into what I truly wanted to be, the next obstacle was surrounding myself around people who wanted more for themselves.
I had to lose a lot of friends. Friends that I truly loved. But I had to love myself more than I loved them. I understand the concept of becoming the people you hang around the most and I couldn’t have that. Now it’s regular day-to-day challenges and preparing myself for the unexpected.
What piece of advice do you wish someone had given you at the start of your career?
I don’t wish anyone gave me any advice. I think that takes away from the experience. You can’t buy experience, you have to live and let things happen and learn from them. I’ve had some terrible things happen in my lifetime but nothing that I wasn’t able to recover from.
Before I stepped into this industry my mother told me that I had perseverance. I’m pretty sure that a little more guidance would have put me further ahead than I am now, but I am going to get to where I’m supposed to be no matter what. I’m just enjoying and appreciating the ride.
What do you see as your greatest success in life?
Though I’ve come this far, my greatest success hasn’t happened. My greatest success will be when all my goals are accomplished and my great-great-grandchildren are financially stable. So I have seen my greatest success within my own mind, it just hasn’t fully materialized yet. But that is coming soon.
Where did the idea for XODS come from?
We got the name XODS from the 2nd book in the Bible entitled Exodus, both are pronounced the same way. The story is about the Israelites leaving an oppressive life in Egypt to make their way to the promised land where they could be free from tyranny and evil rulers. Our concept with XODS is very similar.
We want people to deliver themselves from those who wish to hold them captive. From those who don’t have their best interest at heart and learn to do for themselves. Take back their freedoms and live righteously and abundantly.
What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?
I wake up early, I sit in silence for a little while. Then I begin to etch out my day. I always have a task list of what needs to be done. I prioritize it then I execute it. I also allow myself time for creativity.
I need to come up with new ideas, new technology, new ventures. Just new ways of generating capital on my own. The only way to be productive is to get it done. I make sure whatever needs to get done, gets done.
How do you bring ideas to life?
An idea is worthless until it’s brought to life. Think about how many people have ideas every day. Think about how many ideas 1 individual may have on a daily basis but they lack the execution. I just do it. Whether or not it’ll be successful is not my concern. If you are working smart something will happen.
But unless you put your first foot forth and actually do something to make it alive, it will always remain just an idea. I think that in itself is most people’s biggest downfall. They think too much and don’t have enough action behind it.
What’s one trend that excites you?
I’m not really a trendy person. I don’t like the concept of trends. Unless we are talking about market trends. If so, I love “uptrends” when I’m invested, lol. Other than that I’m not fond of how quickly people hop in and out of things just because other people are doing it.
It makes me feel like people are losing their sense of individuality. One of the things that are supposed to make each one unique. A trendy society is a brain-dead society in my opinion.
What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?
Staying far away from people who aren’t entrepreneurs, lol. If we can’t build together and we aren’t related, I just don’t have the time.
That extra time I’m not giving away to people is being applied to building products. Most people don’t respect time until they don’t have any left. I can not be one of those people.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Don’t spend your money on clothes and sneakers and invest. Don’t get caught up being a consumer and learn how to become a producer. I think that’s most people’s problem where I come from.
I see people ask for reparations sometimes, but if you are a consumer what good will that do? All of It will immediately go back to producers leaving that group of people in the same place they started before they received it. It’s not about how much money you make, it’s about how much you can keep.
Tell us something that’s true that almost nobody agrees with you on.
This is a tough one being that I only spend my time with like-minded individuals. We don’t agree on everything but there aren’t many business topics. At this point in my life, I’m not trying to convince anyone about anything.
I want to win and I wish the same success for everyone else. Whether they agree with me about a particular subject or not.
As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?
I try. I try and I try and I try some more. Don’t let failure cripple you. Keep trying no matter what. This is not me saying try things that don’t work. But if one thing doesn’t work out, analyze what went wrong, adjust and keep moving forward.
What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business? Please explain how.
Planning. The saying goes if you fail to plan, the plan to fail. This couldn’t be more true. You also have to remember that even when you plan, unforeseen things can happen that can change your plans.
I don’t really like last-minute changes. I had to learn to roll with the punches and do whatever it takes to reach my goals.
What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?
As an entrepreneur you always face failure. Not everything you do is going to hit. That’s why you are an entrepreneur. You have to make it happen. You can’t get caught up in wins vs losses. Or successful moments vs moments of failure.
Keep your eyes on the prize and make sure those long-term targets are hit. I overcome by knowing that as long as I’m alive I have another chance to be great.
What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why? (personal or professional)
If you can’t spend $100 and turn it into $200 or $300 it wasn’t well spent. Or If I spend $100 and I can’t learn something from it that will make me $1000 it isn’t worth it. The best money spent is money that percentage gains can be acquired from.
What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?
This one is going to turn the readers into my competition. Look into autonomous logistical services. We are entering a world where it will be man vs machine. Sadly to say, as technology advances the machines will come out victorious.
To ensure you have a spot in the new world, it may be best to own the machines that are a threat to your livelihood. Soon I plan on having an all autonomous driverless trucking service. I’ve already said too much, lol.
